I have spoken with numerous individuals in recent weeks that adhere to various philosophies, belief systems, and world views. It is interesting to discover that many of them used to be Presbyterians, Methodists, Assemblies of God, and yes even Baptists. The common denominator is that none of them have ever come to an understanding of what it means to have "new life" in Christ. Their radical belief systems have now brought them to the place of denying the deity of Christ.
It sounds like quite a leap, but I am talking about people who now claim the teachings of wicca, new age philosophy, and ancient paganism. Wow, from protestant to pagan. How sad that many church attenders never hear the "claims of Christ." Most of these belief systems rail against individualism and yet when you peel back the layers, you discover a core of pride, arrogance and selfishness. I have much more to say, but until then ...
